So my baby is 3 years old today! We took him to the zoo, which was also Riley's first time to go too. It was great! He starts awanas tonight. He's excited! He told me he wasn't going to cry at church anymore because he was big now...lol.
My school stuff got approved! I start January 11th! I'm excited! It's a whole new adventure it seems.
We need lots of prayers. My grandmother is in the hospital and does seem to be doing too good, but all updates are promising. I applied at another position in the City. It won't be any more pay, but it will be a lot more sane! We'll see...
Austin's birthday party is Saturday at our house. We are super excited because Jennifer, Bailey, and Gracie are coming home and will be here for it! We sure have missed them! I have a lot to get done for the party and I don't know when I will get it all done, but I know I will.
Well, I don't know what to say today. I'm tired and worn out from the zoo trip! I'll update again soon!

Here we go...
So I decided to try this. We'll see how this goes. I don't care much for myspace. I like facebook, but don't want EVERYONE to know what's going on in my head all the time. So here's what's going on in my life right now...
I had surgery a week ago to have a tubal ligation (??) and took the strips off today. They said they were holding my incision closed, but they lied cause I have stiches. I guess doctors and nurses don't really trust you to do what they say... I can't believe my childbearing days are over! I'm 24 and feel much, much older. I feel more grateful with what I have now though. When I was ready to get pregnant again after Austin, that's all I could think about and would get frustrated when I couldn't talk Hugh into it. Now that I know I can't even if I wanted to, I am grateful for the two I have and pay more attention to what's going on now and not what could happen later.
The boys start at a new babysitter on Monday. I'm nervous about leaving them with someone I don't know, but I know it will be good. She was really nice and think my girl crazy son has a crush on her daughter. She is a couple of years older than him, but that doesn't stop him. I am really not looking forward to the teenage years. He will be a fast driving, girl crazy teen, mom testing teen. It's gonna be rough, but he will be a good man. I know it!
I am going back to school in the spring! I can't wait. I decided to wait till them for financial reasons and also to give Riley plenty of time to start sleeping through the night. I don't want to go to school, work full time at work and home and not sleep at night. I don't think I could handle that. Although...Riley slept through the night for the first time thursday night and only woke up once last night! He is 6 weeks old (7 weeks in a couple of days)! I hope this continues. It really feels good to get some real sleep, not cat naps in between.
We have to go shopping today because Hugh lost so much weight he doesn't have any pants that don't look like parachute pants! He looks so amazing and deserves to go shopping for his new size. You know how proud of himself he will feel when he gets several sizes smaller than what he normally bought. I know he will be because I am proud of him too.
Austin's birthday is coming up on September 16th and his party is the 19th. We always take him to the zoo on his actual birthday and this year it happens to fall on a Wednesday...half price day! Tell me God doesn't know what we need???!!!??? He knows we are strapped for cash right now, but it's tradition and would break Austin's heart if we didn't take him. We haven't taken him this year because of the pregnancy, but I (and Austin) are excited.
I will let everyone know how the party goes and post pictures. Hope most of ya'll are there! I can't decide if we should have it at our house or at the park. I have the gazebo reserved, but think I will see if the pavilion by the park is available. I have been hesitant to have it at the park because other people don't reserve it and have their party already going when you get there. I don't want to ruin anyone elses party but I don't want to ruin my sons either. If I reserve the pavilion and someone is already there, we can share. The gazebo would be too small. I guess we'll see.
